Synopsis

An eighteen year old boy gets a job in a nursing home and develops a deep emotional attachment to an old man. Discovering that the old man, along with the other patients, is being overmedicated to make him easier to manage, the boy weans the old man of his medication and helps him escape, resulting in a road trip across the country. The always provocative Bruce LaBruce is back with a new romantic comedy (of sorts).

Lake a 18 ans et une adorable petite amie militante. Un jour, il découvre qu’il a une attirance peu commune pour les personnes âgées. Coup du destin, il obtient un emploi dans une résidence, où il lie des liens d’affection avec M. Peabody. Quand il découvre que les patients sont surmédicamentés afin de les rendre plus dociles, Lake décide de sevrer M. Peabody et de l’aider à s’échapper. S’ensuit alors un « road trip » drôle et sincère qui renforce leur relation. Le toujours provocateur Bruce LaBruce nous revient avec une comédie romantique (ou quelque chose qui y ressemble).
