Hannah is a 40 years old woman of French origin living in Montreal. She teaches music with her husband Daniel, a pianist. Together, they lead a chorus of Jewish liturgical chant. For ten years, they dedicate themselves to a group of singers, with passion, determination and devotion.

But lately, as funding no longer follows, Hannah’s commitment starts to fade. One day, a young talented and fragile woman, Abigail, comes knocking at the door of their choir. Abigail is unquestionably gifted, lively, and engaging. Despite all the difficulties within the group, she gives Hannah a new breath of life and faith in Daniel’s work.

Hannah will challenge her well-balanced life to reinvent her art, her life, her commitment, beyond all that is ideal.
