In P.S. Jerusalem, Filmmaker Danae Elon documents her familyís move to Israel in a quest to find a homeland, one her children will be able to call "home". She began filming her three young sons the moment she and her husband Philip decided to leave New York to return to Jerusalem. The decision was prompted by the death of her father, leading Israeli intellectual and writer Amos Elon. It was his dying wish that Danae not return, but her need to have her children deeply understand where they are from sent them on a journey back to the single place Danae calls home. P.S. Jerusalem presents a universal portrait of the pain inflicted as a cherished city turns into a place of division and hatred. It is an insiderís view of Israel and Israeli society.
