Doctors are Only Human offers an intimate and realistic portrayal of an important social issue - that of mental health problems of a growing number of physicians throughout the country. Victims of depression, often attempting to end their own lives, family doctors and specialists are wary to admit their vulnerabilities at the cost of revealing any personal weakness. Expected to be among the top performers of a society primed for competition, excellence and hyper performance, doctors are often trapped working above and beyond any normal breaking point. The result of this situation can lead to dramatic consequences - for individual doctors as well as society at large.
